PATAGONIA in Argentina

Oct 04 Fri: Our home for the following days is El Calafate, the heart of Patagonia. Expect the most impressive landscapes and stunning vistas.

​

Departure from Buenos Aires. Arrival in EL CALAFATE:

Direct (non-stop) flights from Buenos Aires to El Calafate: All flight schedules from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, (AEP) to

El Calafate (FTE), and the flight time is 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Airport Pick Up in El Calafate, Check in at Estancia Nibepo Aike or similar.

Staying in an estancia/ranch is living like a local. An estancia is in essence a Patagonian farm where you will be surrounded by the awe-inspiring views over the mountain ranges and give you the opportunity to get out and explore the remote region via horseback. Perhaps best of all, you’ll find unmatched hospitality and delicious home-cooked meals.

7:00 pm Welcome Dinner from the Estancia. 

Patagonia is home to its own unique dishes that are very hearty and meat-based. From the slow-roasted lamb to massive burgers and stews, there’s so much to try. The one dish you can’t leave without trying is the Lamb al Asador.

Oct 5 Sat: Tour Up Close The Stunning Perito Moreno with a Boat Cruise

One of the best things about Perito Moreno Glacier is that it’s so alive. Every 10 to 20 minutes huge chunks of ice fall from its face. I can guarantee you’ll see a chunk of ice fall if you’re patient enough.

Breakfast. Tour Pick Up. Lunch included and Drinks.

4:00 pm Back To Estancia

7:00 pm Dinner is yours.

Oct 6 Sun: More Spectacular Day with Short Hikes

We will cross the border to CHILE in PUERTO NATALES. Be ready with your travel documents.

This may take up to 6+ hours of driving. Enjoy the scenic views!

10:00 am Transfer Pick Up.

Oct 8 Tues: Day Tour of TORRES DEL PAINE, Easier and Shorter Hike.

It is a unique environment where you see everything from fjords and glaciers to mountains, valleys, rivers, lakes, islands, and rolling hills. small towns, fishing villages, hiking lodges, and communities.

Note: This is an early morning pick-up. 

Note: We will request for our Breakfast To Go.

​

6:00 am Pick Up and Tour. Lunch included.

2:00 pm Back to hotel.

Oct 10 Thur: â€‹Arrival in SANTIAGO @ Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, also known as Santiago International Airport (SCL).

Breakfast, Hotel Check Out. Airport Transfer.

Check and Book with the following airlines: LATAM Airlines, Sky Airlines, etc. We can use clickontours.com for booking flights. It's a 3+ hour flight.

Oct 12 Sat: A Day in Valparaiso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site 

Come here for art and literally, the whole city is covered with artworks – murals, graffiti, painted stairs, and so on- this place is too cool and quirky. 

​

6:00 - 8:00 am Breakfast

8:30 am Pick Up (90-min drive) followed by Two-Hour City Tour.  

Included in the tour is the visit to one of the houses of Pablo Neruda, Chile's renowned Nobel Laureate awardee.

 

After a two-hour tour, you will have time to explore the place on your own. We will meet at an agreed place.

You can ask the guide and, or do your advanced research plans.

Lunch on your own.

​

5:00 pm Shuttle Pickup, Back to Santiago.

Dinner on your own.

Oct 13 Sun: This Day Is Yours. The suggested experience is a countryside Wine Tour.

You must provide your own roommate if you want to share a room. Cultural Wanderer can't promise to provide you with one.

DOUBLE Occupancy means there are two people maximum in the room.

- The two people are sharing the cost of the room for 13 nights, 14 days. They can share a King, Queen or Twin beds. 

- These TWO are sharing in paying the entire cost of breakfast included for 14 days. 

- EACH person is charged (individually charged) for every tour or event, for the transportation, for tickets to museums and, or events.

Single / Solo (One) Occupancy Room: $4,850.00

​

SINGLE Occupancy means there’s only one person in the room whether the bed is King, Queen, etc.

- He / She is paying the entire cost of the room for 13 nights 14 days with breakfast included. 

- He / She is paying for the cost of transportation for one person e.g. airport pick up, domestic transfers, etc. 

- He / She is paying for tours, and events for one person.
