Paris, Versailles and Giverny Itinerary

June 16 Departure -17 Arrival (Tues to Wed)

Arrival at Charles de Gaulle Airport 

NOTE: NO shuttle airport pick up 

We will or  take the train to Paris City and catch a taxi to the hotel

pay your own train on taxi ride.

Call it Paris Attractions DaySit back and take in the breath-taking sights around Paris, with nine central Hop-On, Hop-Off stops:

Eiffel Tower - Take a step back to admire the 301.8m of steel, comprising of 18,000 individual pieces – you can forgo the hard hat but make sure you have your camera at the ready!

Entry to the Eiffel Tower is not included in the Paris Pass 

Champs de Mars - an impressive 60 acres this stunning landscaped garden, it is the site of the Eiffel Tower and a hot-spot for a picnic on a sunny day

Louvre Museum - we will skip the museum tour & save it for June 20

Notre Dame - we might just look the facade - outside.

Orsay Museum - an array of masterpieces from the years 1848 to 1915, including the likes of Cézanne, Monet, Renoir and Van Gogh.

Paris Opera House - One of the most elaborate buildings in Paris, this stunning late 19th century building is also known as Palais Garnier or Garnier Opera House. As the most important ballet and opera house in Paris, it is adorned with mirrors, mosaics and chandeliers – not to mention the impressive Grand Staircase. Well worth a visit, you’ll feel like royalty within its walls.

Champs Elysées Étoile - The Champs Elysées is one of the most famous shopping streets in Paris, much on Par with Fifth Avenue in New York, and Regent Street in London. Stretching 1.8miles, this long avenue is an iconic promenade in Paris, lined with high street shops and some of the most expensive real estate in the world.

Grand Palais - This historic building in Paris was built to glorify the arts in Paris, especially the Beaux Arts movement from which its architecture was inspired. With its stone facades, glass vaults and steel frames it’s an impressive landmark and right on the banks on the Seine it’s got one of the best views in Paris!

Trocadéro - The Gardens of Trocadéro span nearly 94,000m² and with fountains and statues lining its paths, it leads up to the Eiffel Tower on north side of the Seine, and the Champs de Mars to the south. Within the gardens is also an aquarium, the National Theatre and Chaillot Palace.

5:30pm Bateaux Parisiens River Cruise - Snap impressive nighttime photos of landmarks of Paris for an hour-long river cruise.

June 19 (Fri) Versailles and Giverny 9-Hour/Full Day Tour

6:00am - 7:00am Breakfast

7:30am We will walk or take a taxi to the shuttle pick up station 'as suggested by the tour operator' (pay your own taxi ride)

  • Full day excursion to Giverny and the Palace of Versailles from the centre of Paris by luxury air-conditioned coach

  • Enjoy a guided tour of the lush gardens at Giverny, including the Clos Normand Flower Garden and the Japanese Water Garden

  • Free time to visit Monet's studio and house, his home for more than 40 years

  • Priority entrance to Versailles, including a guided tour of the Hall of Mirrors and the Royal Apartments with one of our guides

  • Explore the Gardens of Versailles, designed by Andre Le Natre, at your own pace.

June 20 (Sat)  Full Day Walking City Tour:

2:30pm We will walk & meet at an agreed place as suggested by the guide most likely at Saint Michel Fountain.

This 3-hour walking tour will show you many of the top attractions in the city. Local experts will take you to must-see spots such as the iconic Notre Dame de Paris, the world-famous Louvre, and the impressive Parc des Tuileries.

Visit the Shakespeare and Company - arguably the most famous independent bookstore in the world, occupies a prime piece of real estate facing the Notre Dame.

Shared/ Double Occupancy Room: $4,055.00 - Each Person Pays $2,028.00

You must provide your own roommate if you want to share a room (we can't promise to provide you with one).


DOUBLE Occupancy means there are TWO PEOPLE  maximum in the room. The two people are sharing the cost of the room for 12 nights. They can share a King, Queen or Twin beds.


These TWO are SHARING IN PAYING the entire cost of breakfast included for 13 days.


EACH person is charged (individually charged) for every tour or event, for the transportation, for tickets to museums and, or events. Example: Total Cost is $4,055.00 If sharing with someone,  you may divide this into 2 and each person pays $2,028.00.

Private/Single Room Occupancy: $3,273.00


SINGLE Occupancy means there’s only ONE PERSON in the room ‘private’ whether the bed is King or Queen or twin etc. 

He / She is paying the entire cost of the room for 12 Nights with breakfast included for 13 days.

He / She is paying for the cost of transportation for one person e.g. airport pick up, domestic transfers, etc. 

He / She is paying for tours, events for one person.


Please note:


Non Refundable Deposit due on or before December 30, 2019.

If cancellation takes place on or before January 30, 2020,  50% of the trip price will be forfeited including the security deposit.

If cancellation takes place on or after March 30, 2020,  100% of the trip price will be forfeited including the security deposit.

Full payment and non refundable is due on March 30, 2019.

CULTURAL WANDERER reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary by our team, trip leaders, teachers or partners. In the rare case of a cancellation on our part  we will offer a refund of your funds.

All participants MUST provide travel insurance. IT IS MANDATORY.
