Don't let your ego get in the way of your wonderful trip. Get advice from locals about the best places to eat. Most probably, they will introduce you to a cheap, off-the-beaten-path restaurant where you are going to taste unique Greek flavors. The hospitality of the locals isn't just an urban myth- you'll soon figure it out yourselves.

With a worldwide pandemic still going, entering a foreign country is most likely not simple as it used to be. You maybe required not just your passport and, or visa for entry but also a proof of a negative COVID-19 test result/s.

Another requirement might be an international health insurance. Please check all the needed entry requirements

From AFAR magazine: If you dream of a tranquil island free from traffic and the din of human activity, where donkeys are the only means of transportation, Hydra is it. Beautiful Mediterranean waters, cobbled streets, and preserved architecture makes Hydra an idyllic getaway.

This is Greece: cobblestone streets, traditional homes built into the hills, and donkeys as the sanctioned form of public transportation (no cars allowed). On foot, you're able to explore a number of shops, museums, restaurants and churches to get a taste of the island. Truly a place to disconnect.

May 25 (Tues) SANTORINI

Santorini is famous for its white-washed villages with blue rooftops. But at night, when the sun starts to drop, a whole new world tinged with pink and orange appears. Sunset is almost a holy experience in Santorini, but don’t fight the crowds at Oia to watch this phenomenon. Some of our favorite sunset spots include the lighthouse in Akrotiriou, the panoramic view from Imerovigli, or a sunset boat cruise.

Santorini may be better known for its quaint villages and gorgeous sunsets, but there’s plenty to do for the active traveler. Rent a four-wheeler or moped to explore the island in style. If you’re better on your feet, hike the 12km-trail between Oia and Fira for breathtaking views and hidden gem churches. Spend a day exploring Nea Kameri, where you can experience active volcanic craters and take a dip in thermal hot springs. Or take a step back in time, touring the ancient ruins of Akrotiriou.

THIS AMAZING TOUR INCLUDES:

Franco’s Bar - One of the “must” places to see when you visit Santorini. Located in Fira, the picturesque main town of the island, and boasting the most spectacular panoramic caldera view, Franco’s bar is a cult classic.

Cable car - From sea level, let your imagination wonder and go back to the past, through the volcanic scenery. The cable car travels up the path and in three minutes time you’re comfortably in the beautiful town of Fira.

Nomikos Conference Center - The Petros M. Nomikos Conference Centre is located in the capital of Santorini, Fira,  overlooking the caldera and the volcano.

Blue Dome - If you’ve ever looked at an advertisement for the Greek Island of Santorini, chances are you’ve seen it. The iconic blue domed church that perfectly matches the blue sky with a backdrop of Santorini’s caldera in the Aegean Sea.

Firostefani - Between Fira and Imerovigli, one of the spots with the best view on the island. Even if officially considered as a distinct village, Firostefani is the continuation of Fira.

Catholic Women Monastery - This monastery has also been named Rosaria and is located in the catholic district of Fira. The convent is a remarkable combination of the Baroque style with the Aegean architecture.

Imerovigli- is a picturesque village situated at the north of Santorini, only 2 km away from the capital of Fira

Maltese Square - The beautiful and well know traditional square of Imerovigli

Walking path to Oia
Walking along the caldera will surely be the most scenic route in Santorini island, Greece. In fact, there is a hiking path that lines up half of the volcanic caldera, from Fira up to Oia via Firostefani and Imerovigli.
