Hanoi Old Quarter

Your guide meets you at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter area to start your walking tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, famed for its '36 old streets. Dating back more than 1,000 years, the Old Quarter developed as a group of workshops outside of the royal palace.Today, the streets are still grouped by what they sell, with names to match, such as Bat Su (china bowls), Cha Ca (roasted fish), Hang Bac (jewelry), Hang Dau (shoes and sandals), Hang Gai (silks), To Tich (mixed fruits), Hang Luoc (combs), Hang Duong (candies and dried fruits), and Hang Buom (bamboo products). Wander around with your guide, enjoying the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood. You can taste some local specialties, if you wish (own expense), and continue to the Hoan Kiem Lake area to visit Ngoc Son Temple. Then perhaps stop for a treats or visit popular cafes and restaurants nearby (food and drinks at your own expense).

Hanoi war sites walking tour will lead you to Military history museum or French Quarter and Hoa Lo prison to help you to discover the history of Vietnam’s modern wars.

Overview:

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay is most impressive when viewed from the water. This is a round-trip transport from Hanoi, a boat cruise around Halong Bay, and a delicious seafood lunch included.

Our journey to Halong Bay is by air-conditioned bus.

Admire the views as we drive through the Vietnamese countryside, passing rural villages, lush rice paddies, and herds of water buffalo. Then, set sail on a scenic cruise around Halong Bay and discover its UNESCO-listed natural wonders—an expanse of glittering turquoise water dotted with jagged karst formations, soaring sea cliffs, and rocky islands. Stop at a calm area of the bay to enjoy sea kayaking or a bamboo boat ride (choice of one activity), affording a closer look at the unique landscapes.

After lunch, cruise through Heavenly Cave (Thien Cung), before sailing back to shore. Your driver waits to take you back to your hotel in Halong Bay.

Shared Room / Double Occupancy: $3,395.00+ - Each Person Pays $1,698.00+
You must provide your own roommate if you want to share a room (we can't promise to provide you with one).

DOUBLE Occupancy means there are two people  maximum in the room. The two people are sharing the cost of the room for 12 nights. They can share a King, Queen or Twin beds.
 
These TWO are SHARING IN PAYING the entire cost of breakfast included for 13 days.

EACH person is charged (individually charged) for every tour or event, for the transportation, for tickets to museums and, or events. Example: Total Cost is $3,395.00 If sharing with someone,  you may divide this into 2 and each person pays $1,698.00.
​Private/Single Room Occupancy: $2,610.00+
 
SINGLE Occupancy means there’s only one person in the room whether the bed is King, etc.

He / She is paying the entire cost of the room for 12 Nights with breakfast included for 13 days.
He / She is paying for the cost of transportation for one person e.g. airport pick up, domestic transfers, etc. 
He / She is paying for tours, events for one person.

Please note:

Non Refundable Deposit due on or before September 30, 2019.

If cancellation takes place on or before October 30, 2019,  50% of the trip price will be forfeited including the security deposit.
 
If cancellation takes place on or after November 30, 2019,  100% of the trip price will be forfeited including the security deposit.
 
Full payment and non refundable is due on December 30, 2019.

 
CULTURAL WANDERER reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary by our team, trip leaders, teachers or partners. In the rare case of a cancellation on our part  we will offer a refund of your funds.

All participants MUST provide travel insurance. IT IS MANDATORY.
