This trip can be continued, combined with MOROCCO. Click HERE to direct you to the itinerary.

The Idyllic PORTUGAL buzzes with excitement at the arrival of spring. It is when the Holy Week and Easter celebrations happen — rituals, food, drinks, and performances.

Morocco is the true jewel of North Africa, a feast for your eyes. A land of profound historical and cultural importance; endless diversity and surprises, a land of Islamic imperial grandeur and old-European elegance.

You have never been to Portugal without the experience of listening to Fado.

It's been Portugal's blue - mournfully beautiful and haunting ballads about lost sailors, broken hearts, and bittersweet romance. Fado means "fate" — how fate deals with Portugal's adventurers...and the families they leave behind.

Dinner and Fado Music at Casa da Mariquinhas

It is the oldest fado house in Porto. It’s a small space, with great acoustics, conducive to complicity between the audience and the good resident artists, where the granite walls, the lighting, the decoration and its history make this one of the best places in the country to enjoy an intimate fado experience with dinner.

Note: Excludes Drinks. More details will be emailed.

BRAGA is the oldest city in Portugal and the third largest city.

GUIMARAES is the birthplace of the first independent king of Portugal, Alfonso Henriques.

From alongdustyroads.com

- BRAGA is a delightful mixture of architectures spun through the ages, this incredibly walkable city is strewn with verdant plazas, quaint little streets and plenty of baroque churches. The spectacular Bom Jesus do Monte, an 18th century sanctuary is a UNESCO Heritage site.

- Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site back in 2001, Guimarães’ narrow medieval streets, well-preserved castle and 15th century palace provide ample opportunity for tourists to delve into the past. However, it is its creative scene - and large university population - which is attracting a new type of visitor. Declared the City of European Culture in 2012, you can enjoy a morning of history, and afternoon of modern art and a night on the town!

Evening Arrival. Dinner on your own.
