Part 2:Â KC Coffee Beans and Buzz
JAVA GARAGE
Community, Creativity, and Canine Cuddles
Step into Java Garage Pod Studio where a wagging tail and a warm ambiance greet you at the door. A welcoming caffeine stop - they have the best latte with oat milk and you can pair it with assorted pastries. If you need to step away from screen work, do a little retail therapy. Browse through their merchandise corner, featuring curated handcrafted items and goods. Yes, it's not just a coffee shop but also a venue designed to spark your creativity and productivity.
If you're planning a team meeting or a small event, or if you're a seasoned podcaster or a newbie, they have you covered with professional equipment. Owners Heather and Mitch are always there for you and Stout, the resident furry friend, is always ready to offer a comforting cuddle.

TWO SUGARS
Each cup not only promises a delightful taste but also an invitation to return.
You are welcomed by its adorable and vibrant wall paintings and an inviting sofa perfect for a selfie. Seating options make the coffee shop feel like an extension of your living room, where you can relax, study, or drop in for their innovative brews. Follow the aroma smell to the back, and grab their homemade pastries, and gluten-free options. Most times, the owners are there, and each serving is a reflection of their passion for the coffee shop business.

PT's COFFEE at the Crossroads
Unassuming and Unfiltered
Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood known for Kansas City's First Fridays—the city's most dynamic and popular event— it's no wonder PT's Coffee regularly showcases rotating exhibits of local artists on their walls. Open 7 days a week for your caffeine needs, baked goods, breakfast, and lunches. Plenty of room for a productive stay or a quick refuel.
Note: The baristas are attentive and friendly.

LA TACITA de CAFE in Riverside
New in the neighborhood, in a little strip mall (I almost missed it), and becoming a favorite already to many. A delightful place where the atmosphere is comforting, prices are affordable, and service is top-notch. Try their signature coffee or smoothies with your sandwiches or pastries and desserts served too. I will go back and leave a bigger tip that I forgot, but the staff seemed unconcerned about it. Thank you La Tacita De Cafe!

CORE COFFEE in Pendleton Heights
"Enter As Strangers, Leave As Friends."
The northeast neighborhood gained an excellent catch with this coffee shop, serving simple and delicious eats on their menu and other drinks. Order a classic drip and pair it with your avocado open sandwich. Then, choose your perfect spot: in a quiet corner or soak up some Vitamin D on their charming tiny patio. But my favorite part is the sun-drenched window seat inside - now that is cozy.
On some Thursdays, you might see me with the NKCYOGAÂ Yoga Friends for good laughs and conversations here. No, we don't talk about you.

CROWS COFFEE at Waldo
I don't mind the 22-minute drive to get my caffeine fix here. The laid-back vibes and open layout design are perfect, especially with the windows open in nice weather. Plus, they offer a selection of wines, beers, housemade pastries, and quick bites to complement your beverage.
